Round #1 of Paperwork-Done!
I suppose the point of a blog is to actually post information on a regular basis! I have to remember that I'm keeping a diary of sorts for our child. Some day, he or she may be interested in this adoption process. So . . . our first stack of paperwork is done and turned in with our first payment. In truth, we have a lot of the actual homestudy paperwork completed. Jon just has to write his autobiography, and then we have to finish gathering documents--insurance policies, birth certificates, etc. Assuming we can get our interviews done soon, we may be finished with our home study in just a few weeks!
The only other development of the last 10 days is that Jon and I signed up for a couple of classes at the hospital--Infant CPR and Basic Newborn Care. We decided we had better learn how to take care of the little bugger when he or she comes home!
No pictures this week. Although, the Moores are gathering on Saturday. They are a photogenic bunch! Stay cool~
