August, boo, hoo, hoo!

I can smell the freshly sharpened pencils already! Denial is a good thing for the next few weeks.
Jon and I spent our anniversary at Sundara Spa in the Wisconsin Dells. It was quite lovely, and we greatly improved our suntans. We can't travel much this year, so this was our one treat. I came back with groomed feet (finally!) and a new addiction to smoothies.
On the adoption front, not much is new. We are 98% done with our paperwork. I passed my physical with flying colors--always good to hear you've passed the drug test! Kidding. We're slightly obsessed with getting the right photo for our adoption profile cover. This is not an easy task as we want to look happy, but not corny, responsible, but not boring, relaxed but not sloppy. Here's the current leader. Would you give these two a baby?
