Suddenly Busy!

August is going to be a crazy month! We have our two home study interviews scheduled. Next Tuesday, the 12th, is the long interview. We're excited to get through that. Then our home visit is on the 26th. We have a few things to do before the visit--buying a fire extinguisher, writing a fire escape plan, installing a carbon monoxide detector. I'm not too worried about the visit, although last night I had a dream that we had a gorilla, many cats (eek!?) and three dogs at our house on home visit day. The gorilla was quite friendly, and liked belly rubs like Ellie. But I was worried that the gorilla would attack the cats and cause chaos. Meanwhile, blessedly, Kara is going to help me with the profile book next week. She's been very cute . . . buying all kinds of crazy scrapbooking supplies. Jon has been participating by giving final approval of the photos! Hopefully we'll have that book to Alice on the 26th, and then the wait will begin!!
