Brrr!

Wow, where did 2 weeks go? It is already 14 days into 2009. I think we should just cut everyone a break and fast forward to March. We're expecting a "Cold" day for the next 2 days, so no school. I'll never complain about a school day, but this means our school year will be extended further into June. I keep hoping that we'll have a baby by then and I will be on leave!

We haven't heard anything on the adoption front lately. I presume things were very slow for them around the holidays. I have to admit this wait is starting to become more of a mind game. I'm finding myself waking up each morning wondering if today will be the day we'll get that call. And then I'm a little bummed at the end of the night when no call has come. In the meantime, Jon and I are trying to stay really busy with working out and watching lots of movies. What else to do in the winter? I thank God every day that I have Jon to keep me thinking positively. He keeps me focused on enjoying our life today--which is pretty awesome. Ah well, until it happens, I'll keep praying and dreaming of mommyhood.

Speaking of mommies, congrats to sweet Kristina and her hubby, Brian on their little man, William Lee, who was born this week. Kristina will be one of the best and funniest moms around!
