Love Letter to My Cousin

I'm double-dipping today to wish Maureen a Happy Birthday. Maureen, I could write pages about how much I adore and respect you. You've taught me so much about life simply by the way you live yours. Many years ago, we all found it curious how we both ended up being "Twisted Sisters". Today, I understand why. There was a greater plan for our friendship. Your support then was amazing. Your support today is humbling. Life has thrown us many blows. It has also given us many blessings. How I've handled those moments has very much been guided by you. I can only hope I've given you a small piece of what you've given me.

Thank you for being my dear sister, and for teaching me so much about motherhood. It will be my deepest honor to introduce you to my child.
