Feeling very mature tonight as I'm now on Thanksgiving vacation.

Silly Baby Names of the Week:

Bronx Mowgli- As in the neighborhood, and the blasted Jungle Book. What do we expect from a girl named AshlEE (Simpson.) That poor child.

Huckleberry! Ok, not a baby. But this is worse: a substitute teacher at school. A woman. A 40-year-old woman. But don't worry, she doesn't go by Huckleberry (lest someone think of Huck Finn. Or Strawberry Shortcake. Or pie.) She simply goes by "Huckle." Good thing we don't like names that start with H. ;-)

With that, Happy Thanksgiving. Jon and I are grateful for our wonderful families, our stable jobs, and each other. We pray that next year, we'll be carving turkey with a little one underfoot.
