90210: Who is Watching With Me?

Can't believe I live in a world that has brought back 90210 for a whole new generation of fans. Can "Charles in Charge" be far behind?

Back to school today. Knock on wood, but I looove my kids. We had silent reading today in study hall and they actually read. All of them! Read BOOKS! When it was time to stop, one boy didn't. When I asked him to please put his book away, he said, "Oh sorry, I just really got into this book." Then he asked for a bookmark! This odd utopia is bound to cease tomorrow. I'm sipping Pinot Grigio tonight just in case. (Hey, 90210!)

Nothing new on the adoption front. Our home visit is September 16th. After that, we'll start being shown to birth moms. Alice called today and left the nicest message saying that our profile is the best she's ever seen. That really touched me! My dad saw the book last week, and really liked it, too. It makes me so happy to see him so supportive and interested in this process. He has really taken the time to ask questions and be involved. Jon and I have both told him how much we appreciate this.

Ohmygosh, Brenda and Kelly are on talking to the guy from the Peach Pit. Must go!
