Making A List

Hmm, after all that action, we're back to just waiting. Of course this is the easy kind of waiting! Just letting the baby cook and we're trying to get the house in order, as they say. Next week is spring break . . . finally! I had hoped to go to Texas to visit my relatives, but looks like I will be at home enjoying the 35 degree April weather! It's ok though, as I certainly have enough to do in the next couple of months. It will be nice to have some weekdays to get the family ducks in a row. Here's my list of things to do before baby arrives:
1. Sleep (I did that this weekend to make up for the 6 weeks of rotten sleep. Thanks, Jon!)
2. Find a pediatrician
3. Take dogs to vet.
4. Get carpet and furniture cleaned.
5. Find a way to organize small infant socks.
6. Assemble various baby gear . . . or at least locate items in basement storage.
7. Sleep
8. Wash windows--this should be interesting.
9. Make a spreadsheet of possible baby names. That's Jon's project.
10. Wash small infant socks, hats, t-shirts, etc.
11. Figure out bottles and how to wash all of the parts. I am losing sleep about this.
12. Update spring wardrobe, as I have a feeling I will never buy clothing again. Or at least til the kid is out of diapers.
13. Sleep
14. Expensive Restaurants: we have 8 weeks to hit the best ones in town.
15. IKEA run!
16. Enroll dogs in spring training. This means it is time to get back to our 3 mile walks!
17. Read book club book so I can at least add to the discussion while I drink red wine.
18. Find a "Happiest Baby on The Block" DVD and a miracle blanket.
19. Get a flippin' pedicure! Almost sandal time!
20. Sleep
