Pins & Needles!

Jon and I have kept this quiet, but we are comfortable with giving a quick update now.

Last week we were notified of a potential situation involving an expectant mom up north. There were a few specifications on her end, and a few conditions for us to consider as well. It would be a great situation for us, and we remain excited about the possibility. Last week and this weekend were very intense and hectic as we were getting information and trying to come to some decisions.

The update today is that we're still in the game, and odds are pretty good that we may be matched. However, we will not know anything more until the social worker meets with this young gal on February 27th. It seems forever away, but we are very hopeful. We know that if this is our baby, it all will work out. If it is not our baby, we'll keep waiting patiently until ours arrives. In the meantime, any prayers for this young woman that she may find the right family for her baby, would be appreciated.

Someone at work reminded me today that there's always a plan, and God gives people challenges for a reason. I know one day this will all make perfect sense. :-)
