A Good Position to Be In . . .

Phew, here is our update. The birth mom took home 4 portfolios over the weekend, and has narrowed it down to two. We're one of the two. Her final decision should be coming any time. I give her a lot of credit for making such a thoughtful decision. Even if she doesn't pick us, it will be ok because I'm confident this gal is making the very best decision for her situation.

In addition, we've been told that another woman has asked to look at our book. This luck could fall under the "When one door closes . . ." umbrella.

Thanks again for the prayers. I do believe they are working! After a whole winter of bragging about my super-immunity, I am now comically ill. At least this adoption stuff is not causing me to lose sleep--Nyquil is the nectar of the gods!
