A Metaphor For Our Life

Look what popped up in our little tree this week. We're just nesting all around!

Baby's bag is all packed. Here's some of the supplies I'm sending up to the bridge care home. We will meet the bridge care family on Saturday. I'm not anxious about anything but bridge care, so I am looking forward to seeing the baby's first home.


While packing up some clothes, I pulled out some of my favorite outfits. Who says boys' clothes are not cute? I figure he'll need to look dapper for some early pictures up at bridge care, right? No worries, kid won't be hanging out in ratty onesies all summer. My nervous energy would not allow such a fate.

I call this a "church outfit"


I suppose this this is another "church" outfit. From Janie and Jack, this little number has delicate lambs embroidered on the chest and a Peter Pan collar. (Can you hear my hushed, dramatic description?)

Yes, I know he will poo, pee, and barf on all this cuteness. But at least I now have pictures to remember the sweetness!

I am thinking of taking this blog private (password protected) when baby arrives. I know my relatives and friends will want to see pictures, so they will all receive the password via email.
